Plumeria in Paradise
Oil painting on 18" X 24" Canvas Panel
Plumeria flowers are most fragrant at night in order to lure sphinx moths to pollinate them. The flowers have no nectar, and simply dupe their pollinators. The moths inadvertently pollinate them by transferring pollen from flower to flower in their fruitless search for nectar.

About me

I came to America from Thailand in 1975 to get my MBA at Temple University.
I am now working in Human Resources as Benefits Coordinator.
In my spare time, I love to paint as painting makes me really happy.
Most of my paintings are modern in style. I work with acrylic on canvas, pastel on black paper, and oil paint.
I've always had an interest in painting which became even more of a passion after I took a few painting classes in 2007. Now I find myself painting whenever I can to find my specific voice and style.
